I was completely surrendered to Julian and although I didn't see much logic in his request for me to mark him, I followed every step he took.
Suddenly, as if something magical was happening, I felt fangs growing in my mouth and as if hypnotized, I marked Julian.
Now we were each other's and as crazy as it sounds for me to go from being a slave one day to becoming the future queen of a virtually unknown people the next, that was exactly what was happening.
I was feeling light, flooded by a wave of happiness, but the pain began to take over my body and I became weak and limp as if I was about to break in half.
