I was seated by the single couch in the nook by the corner, looking out of the window and down at the grounds from the fourth floor when I was startled by the loud chimes of a bell. It seemed to have come from a distance and I immediately assumed that there was a bell tower somewhere on the island. I looked across the common room at the clock mounted on the wall above the entrance that led in from the hallway to see that it was 6 P.M already.
