"... have you lost your mind? I came all the way here just for you to hug me?" Nero asked, contradicting his own words but bringing his hands up to return the hug. I wanted to help clear my thoughts and figured that hugging him would help me somewhat. It did, to an extent, and I was able to think clearly.
"You chose to come along, didn't you? You want this as much as I do," I said, tilting my head to look up at him. He smiled and took that opportunity to press his lips against mine. We stayed in that embrace and kiss for half a minute before I broke it off and averted my eyes to the side. He took notice of that and placed his hand under my chin, turning my head so that I would face him again.
