Early the very next morning, a few minutes before the bell would ring and its chiming would reach the main building to awaken all of the students who were sleeping in the dormitories, I was instead woken up by a strange feeling on my earlobe. On cue, my earing automatically awakened as well and the sound of heavy winds and what sounded like rushing water was all I heard. Apart from the purring of a cat, that is. I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the window across the room. Water was streaming down the window pane and the window rattle slightly as the wind blowing in its direction struck it. The sky had brightened because the sunrise had already risen, but a gray blanket of clouds had concealed the blue sky from my sight. I wanted to return to sleep for a while longer because
