Driving into Mount Vernon, I remember from high school when I learned that this is the home to George Washington’s estate. It is a beautiful town with a down home feel. Yet, there is something off about it.
Everywhere I look, I notice that the people are all taking their time, walking along slowly. No one seems to be in a hurry to go anywhere and the strangest thing of all, is that they all look like they stepped right out of a 1930’s movie. It makes me wonder if there is something else going on here besides an appearance of “her” two days ago.
