Damon's Pov
Rina is healing quite well. Today she complained about being in bed for too long, so I decided to take her for a walk so that I could also talk to her. I am holding her hand as we walk through the woods.
Raven, Ian, Derek, and Liam are with us too, but in front of us. They have become friends with Rina lately and I would want them to be around. I need them to keep watch and they are also my family and will always be with me each step, and my sister, as my mate’s best friend, will help out if all hell breaks loose.
We finally arrived where we needed to be, our favorite tree house where we have been coming since we were young, it is like our small hiding place. No one ever comes here, just my friends and I and that's why I picked it.
