Part 2 on memory lane

373 Words
When you achieve a great deal of a sense of freedom in your heart and body, soul, mind, spirit, the entire menu, to say so, you can become an extremely dangerous person. Why you may ask? Listen, I've been through some things over the years. I've noticed that some people feed on your insecurities, dreams, thoughts, ideas, and so on. When you are down, pay really close attention to those who genuinely, offer you a hand, a piece of advice, or even a cup of water.  I've lived around snakes pretty much my entire adulthood because I was really smart with my finances. Therefore, more traitors around me, fake friends, and a whole lot of problems.  I'm not talking about my trio of girls. They were, are, and will forever be my family/ support system. I know that if I go to the end of the world or God knows on what deserted island, they will follow me.              Having said that, I guess it's fair to say that sometimes I may have slipped once in a while. I am no saint, I have no idea how to be a role model in my life and I definitely do not care about bringing another human being into this crazy world.  My maternal instinct is far from being up in the sky, due to my history. I wanted to get out of a big city and search for tranquility elsewhere, in a smaller place, where no one knows me. I can start fresh, see new people, learn new customs, even a craft. It might sound cheesy, but I was yarning deeply for a cute cottage with a porch where I would sit and take my afternoon tea while watching a bunch of kids riding their bikes, with a pair of judgemental eyes watching them, killing their vibes at all times. A granny, to be specific. A porch from where I could see the mountain, tall and imposing, racing to cover the sun in the summertime. A porch from where I would see a little church. That holy place, where I would often escape my thoughts and emotions, tears, and just thinking about life in general. That little town, as big as a box of matches.
