52 There were times when Caroline resented having to bare all to her therapist, and then there were times when she was thankful Rachel was there, able to organise and accommodate a session at short notice when Caroline felt she needed it. Her pessimistic, negative side told her this was because Rachel knew she couldn’t force Caroline to talk, so by actively coming to her for help at times of crisis, it showed Caroline’s willingness to deal with the issues at hand.
