When we got to the unit, Howard and I were just quiet. Auntie Zein came in first and immediately walked around the room to look for Crystal, then she turned to us full of astonishment.
"Why can't I see Crystal? Where is she?" Auntie Zein asked.
Howard and I looked at each other and couldn't answer. "Zion? Howard? What's going on? I thought there was a surprise?" Auntie looks at us both. "Why isn't Crystal around?"
Auntie Zein sat on the sofa, tired and waiting for us to answer.
"It's like this … Hmm, Crystal is gone, Auntie. She left," Howard said.
Auntie looked at me in surprise. "Huh?! Zion, what does he mean that Crystal is gone? And then she left? Why?"
