Grace was fast asleep when she heard a loud bang on her door. She quickly jerked up, rubbing her eyes and checking the time, she found out she had slept off right after her call with Lucas.
She gently stepped down from her bed, opened the bedside drawer and slipped out a gun, she tiptoed noiselessly to the sitting room.
Grace froze at a spot when she saw her main door wide open, turning swiftly on hearing a plate drop. Grace loaded her pistol and cracked it, she walked towards the kitchen but as she was about to step in, someone tapped her from behind
“hey Mrs Lucas”
The man in a black hoodie uttered before using a towel to cover her nose, Grace fought back, releasing as many bullets as she could, hoping to attract the neighbours but the man was not alone and the other person with him
