The Alffür will eventually
vanish from this Earthly plane.
Their lives are long:
alternating between
physical and ethereal,
but they are not immortal.
Neither are the Bledray.
Hope lies in the ability of
Guardians to protect
and share knowledge
and Hunters to quell Gatherings.
Yet even in times of trouble,
in the midst of a Gathering,
a new Hunter may arrive.
