Chapter 45: Come With Me

Backup showed up to take Theo into custody not long after I had him restrained in the middle of his living room. I left as soon as they arrived. I couldn't afford to waste any more time. It irked me, even more, to think that Theo had been trying to buy time for mobsters who were likely torturing Mia.
One of the men escorted me quickly to the address that Theo provided. It was all the way in Brooklyn, but thankfully, with a police escort, we sped through the city. It was still slower than I could stand.
