'Job in Mumbai.. No Way'

In Delhi

They both sat in the car.

“I m going to meet my frnds or ur girl friend ,bhai.“, teased nandini.

“Wht could i do mom already had some doubts ,she asked me many times. So I had to lie on ur name.“, justified cabir his actions.

“Chill bhai I didn’t mind and I m so excited to meet bhabhi.“,said nandini with a big smile.

They reached the hotel.

“Choti I have a meeting in half an hour. So I will leave u both alone and attend the meeting after that we can go home.“, explained cabir his plan.

“Ok I have no problem.“, said nandini and they both reached inside.

Cabir took a look around and found her sitting there in a corner.

He holds nandini hand and take her with him.

He puts his hand on the girl eyes.

“Cabir”, she exclaimed and got up from her chair and hugged him.

“I missed u”, said cabir hugging her back.

“I missed u too”, the girl said.

“Ahem... ahem...“, fake coughed nandini to get their attention.

They break the hug.

Cabir smiles and then introduce them.

“Choti she is navya , my girlfriend and navya she is nandini my sister.”

“I m so glad to meet u atlast.“, navya said and hugged her.

“Me too”, said nandini.

They settled in the chairs and ordered coffee.

“Cabir always use to talk abt u. Wherever we use to go he would say abt how u liked this place when u both came here. I was waiting desperately to meet u.“, navya said with a smile.

“I was also excited to meet the person who fell in love with my duffer bhai.“, said nandini giggling.

“I wonder how I fell for him sometimes”, said navya dramatically.

“The damage is already done and u are in love with me so stop wondering and u have to tolerate this duffer all ur life.“, said cabir defending.

“U guys have ur time I will see u both in a hour.“, cabir said straightening himself.

“Bhai I will go home on my own u will have to again come back here from office to pick me. U will be tired.“, said nandini with concern.

“Choti I m not going to office for meeting. It is here only so I brought u two here so that after meeting I can spend some time with u both. Its in the private area my PA is waiting there so I will go and take care both of u.“, cabir finished and got up from his seat.

He side hugged nandini and kissed her forehead.

He then hugged navya and kissed her temple.

“All the best , love u”, said navya.

“Thanks ,love u too”, said cabir breaking the hug and went.

They both sat down.

“If u dont mind shall I ask u a question. “, asked nandini not sure of her reaction.

“Why r u being formal u can ask me anything”, said navya sipping her coffee.

“Dont u feel bad when bhai gives me more priority than u.“, asked nandini slowly.

Navya keeps her coffee down.

“U know nandini whenever I see him caring ,loving u I fall in love with him again. I think that the person who can do anything for his sister and love her so much can never disrespect a girl and the girl for whom he falls will be lucky and I am lucky to be that girl.“, explained navya about her feelings to her.

“I dont want anything just a loving family and a caring husband. I never met ur family but through cabir I came to know everything abt ur family and I feel that I am part of it.“, added navya smiling thinking abt future.

“Bhabhi u know this was the only thing I feared that if for me ur and bhai love gets affected and after hearing u I m proud of his choice.“, said nandini excitedly.

Navya blushed on hearing bhabhi. Nandini saw her and smiled.

They talked about each other. Cabir joined them after some time and then they head back home and cabir went to office for his work.

All were having their dinner peacefully.

Nandini checks her mail and sees the necessary information.

Nandini excitedly comes back and sees her family sitting in the living room.

She sits between her mom and dad while cabir was on the floor and naina was massaging his head.

“Wht happened nandu who was on the call , u look so happy.“, enquired sameer.

“I think her boyfrnd was on the call ,so she is smiling like this right choti.“,teased cabir.

“Boyfrnd...bhai I dont have one.“, said nandini looking at him.

“Dont have one means u have many, hawww.. choti only this was left. Mom dad I told u not to send her london for studies , see wht she did there made boyfriends .“, said cabir dramatically making funny faces.

“Oops I forgot to tell u guys. Actually I knew that I have to work in india so there were some job offers in the campus. I applied there and submitted ny designs. I got the call that I got the job.“, explained nandini.

“Choti whts the need for a job. We are there na to work. U enjoy ur life to fullest. There is no need for u to do job.“, said cabir not agreeing the idea abt job.

“But bhai I want to, mom dad explain him na.“, requested nandini.

“But papa if u didn’t want me to do job why u made me study. I had a dream to fulfill. Also I want to be independent .plz I want to do job and earn on my own.“, pleaded nandini.

“I dont have problem with u doing job but in mumbai. Nandu it’s a unknown place, u dont know anyone there how can I let u go there alone.“, said sameer in worry.

“The same way u send me london. I m ur strong daughter dad, I want to do this plz for me agree to it.“, asked nandini with hope.

“When is the joining date”, asked sameer.

“I will have to go on saturday so that I can settle down properly and join from monday.“,nandini gave them details.

“How are u , I was very tensed u didnot call since morning”, nyonika asked worried.

“I wanted to suprise u guys and if I would have called I would have spill out the truth.“, said mukti sitting on the sofa.

“Today morning dhruv was asking abt u and I said u will come in 2 days. He will be so happy to see u.“, informed manik.

“I will suprise him by going to office to meet him.“,said mukti excitedly.

“Princess how u came early. U had work u said.“, asked raj.

“I was planning to come yesterday only with my frnds but I lost my ticket so had to wait one more day.“, mukti said sadly.

“But this one day was not bad.I enjoyed so much.“, added mukti.

“Bacha u would be tired go and take rest. I will get u sth to eat.“, said nyonika.

“Yes mom I m so tired , I will be upstairs in my room. Dad I will come to office tomorrow with u and dont tell dhruv abt my coming”, said mukti and went upstairs to rest.

All others also got busy with their works.
