Leaves of a Book A cold and wintry month was March, but it had its moments. On the eleventh, President Roosevelt signed the Lend-Lease bill into law, breaking the United States’ non-interventionist policy since the beginning of the war and provided Britain with much needed aircraft, food, land vehicles, and ships.
