Chapter 4
The Thunderbolts were in pretty good spirits. They were on a five-game winning streak. It was the longest series of back-to-back wins of the season. If they could keep up a good win-to-loss ratio for the rest of the season, O.B. knew they could squeak in at least a wildcard spot in the playoffs. The team was hoping for a win later that night in the final game against the Rays, and another sweep.
Jake Robinson walked over to O.B. in the locker room before the game. “Since we’re takin’ off for Baltimore tomorrow, bunch of us are going out tonight. Be a nice way to celebrate a pretty fuckin’ successful home stand before we go on the road. You haven’t been hanging out with us for a while. Why don’t you come along?”
