Andy slammed into the restaurant. Jason barely had time to look up from where he was cleaning the grill and say, “Hey, what’s—” before Andy had pushed through onto the main floor. “Kat!” he bellowed. “We’re going for ice cream. Right. The f**k. Now.” Kat looked up from where she and Jeff were engaged in a little more shoving and throwing crumpled napkins at each other than actually cleaning. Kat picked up the broom, spun it around like a quarterstaff, and thrust it at Jeff. “You clean. I am required.” “Aw, Kat…Why don’t I ever get to go out for ice cream?” Jeff whined, but he took the broom.
