I didn't break the promise I made to myself this time. I kept my word on going to school the next day. Aunt Sandra had had this smile on her face when I announced I wouldn't be waiting for breakfast because I had to get to school early. She had even insisted on packing me a small box containing my breakfast but I refused it, thanking her for her kindness. She then offered to give me some money, I didn't take that either, refusing as politely as I could. On my way to school I stopped by a café, The King's Cafe to be precise.
