We were on an island.
The cruise ship had dropped us all on an island two days before, the final part of the twelve day excursion. In about two days the excursion will come to an end and everyone will be back to their respective homes.
I was sat on a mat staring at the ocean. A few people were in the water surfing and some others swimming. I on the other hand just wanted to get a tan. Anna who was sat right beside me let out a sigh.
“I can’t believe this is coming to an end. I don’t wanna go back to the old routine of less sleeping hours, early classes and thousands of assignments. I wish we could be here forever just living freely with no worries about assignments and school.”
