A second later, her intercom beeped.
“‘Anna, I found all the files you requested,’” Tara said. “‘Would you like me to do some other research for you?’”
“No, Tara, that was all. Thank you so much, hon. You are amazing!”
“‘That’s my thing, babe. I am amazing, and I find a lot of hidden info. Oh, one more thing. Elaine wanted me to tell you that she would be in your office in ten minutes.’”
Annalise punched the button to end the conversation. Yes, finding hidden info was Tara’s number one thing. She also liked to gossip, but she wasn’t overly intrusive. She backed off when people wanted her to.
