Six In the haze of her drowsiness to get up to pee for the third time, Destiny realized she had experienced light contractions throughout the night. She could only imagine what was coming next, but felt ready; after all, she had made it this far. Settling back into bed, she stared once again at the stark white ceiling to resume her contemplation. The early evening’s silent answer provided the sense of relief that her decision to give the baby up for adoption was the right choice.
