I am still not sure till now why I felt so tired before sleeping, I guess it’s because of all the work I had to do in the shop the day before, well, I set my alarm before sleeping for my interview the next day.
“Oh please I hope I get really early in the morning,” I thought aloud.
The next day

OH NO, it’s 7 alreadyyy
The alarm possibly rang but I was too tired to wake up, I quickly stood up to enter the bathroom, someone opened the door widely,
“You are not dressed yet?” my mom asked looking suprised,
“I woke up so late, I have to be quick” I said and dashed into the bathroom.
“Come down for breakfast when you are done”
I heard her say through the shower.
I came out some minutes later staring at the outfit I was supposed to wear while drying my hair, Abigail had come to pick it out for me yesterday. I quickly put it on and checked myself in the mirror once again.
Okay good to go!

I said to myself .
I rushed down the stairs and was heading to the table where my dad, mom and brother are sitting already.
“Come eat breakfast quickly” my dad called to me,
I was about to sit when I looked at my watch
“Oh God it’s 7:30 already, that means I just have thirty minutes” I shouted alerting everyone.
“Okay, just take this sandwich and eat it on the way then” my mom said handing it to me
“No, mom it’s fine I have to go, I’ll take something when I get back” I responded rushing out of the house.

“ Please tell me you are dressed already,” Daniel said opening the door to Nicholas’s room.
He looked inside and saw Nicholas wearing his suit
“ I know I have a big day , why would I want to ruin that,” Nicholas replied
“ Is the car ready”
“Yes sir” Daniel said.
“ why are you calling me that? ” Nicholas turned raising his eyebrows.
“ You are to be appointed President of the company today, I ought to give you the respected accolade and title sir” Daniel said smiling.
“Whatever”
They both walked out of the room and out of the house, Daniel entreated to the drivers seat while Nicholas proceeded to the passengers seat in the back. And he drove away.
While in the car, Daniel told Nicholas,
“ There would be an interview today to recruit new employees to the company, I am telling you so you don’t get surprised to see crowd” he said driving.
“ Okay”
They got to the company and headed straight to the office, all the while people staring at Nicholas mostly whispering.
“ who is that?”
“ GOSH! He is so handsome,”a lady said to her colleague giggling.
“Are you also looking at the man beside him, he is also cute, these are new faces you know, I wonder who they are” she responded back staring.
Nicholas and Daniel got to his new office and prepared for the inauguration of Nicholas being the president.
Meanwhile Anastasia finished the interview and just came out of the building of the company.
Goodness! There were so many people I am beginning to wonder if I would truly get this job, nonetheless, I hope I do, I am really getting frustrated about all this. She thought to herself while coming out.
One hour later I got home.
“ How did it go?, do you think you would get the job?, is the company as big as Peter said?” Mr Cole, Ana’s dad asked as she entered the shop walking behind her.
“ it actually is big and yes, it went okay, a lot of people were present too, if not that Abby convinced me I am not sure I would have applied there” I said looking all tired while I sat down.
My dad rushed to get a cup of water for me immediately he saw my tired face and gave it to me
Goodness! I really am so thirsty, I said to myself gulping the water hurriedly.
“ I have a good feeling about this, I think it would work out” my mom said to me while serving a customer.
“ I really don’t know mum, I can’t say” I stood up and went to my room ,
On getting there my phone started ringing immediately.
Oh it’s Abby
“ I am so sorry I was too busy to call you, by the way how did it go? She asked immediately I picked the call.
“It was okay but I honestly doubt if I would get the job though” I said immediately I entered the room and fell on my bed with the phone in my hand.
“ Oh please , I think you would, let’s have a more positive mind okay”
“ Okay then if you say so”
“ I am so sorry I have to go, my dad is calling, I would come over later in the day though, your mom said something about making some chicken stew today, you know how much I love that, would not miss it for world” she said giggling.
“Okay then, later” I said and hang up the call.
Abigail came immediately she was done with work.
“My gosh!”
“ This is so good” Abigail said while eating from a plate in Ana’s room.
“ you called again to tell me you would not come as you were working overtime, what changed your mind?” I said smiling looking at her.
“ THIS” she replied while pointing at the food laughing, this made me laugh too.
“ are you aware your mom makes the best chicken stew?”
“ I know, oh! Your phone is ringing, it’s your dad” the phone was beside me and I was about to hand it over to her.
“ I’m not picking his call” she said immediately.
“ why , what is going on?” I asked dropping the phone.
“ how can he tell me to go on a blind date again?, I am so sick of all this” she said dropping the plate with anger.
“Are you serious, he still disturbs you after what happened last time?” I said laughing hard.
“ Please stop, it’s not funny, I thought by now he would have forgotten about this, I guess the rumors did not spread as much as I had thought” she said angrily.
“ so who is it this time?” I asked still smiling
“ I don’t know I was too annoyed to ask, I am already so busy with work and now this,” she looked unhappy.
“ but instead of getting stressed out on work would it not be better to go out with a wealthy guy, I mean that sounds cool”
“ NEVER, I hate arranged marriages, I prefer to marry out of love with someone I meet through fate”
“ Look at you”, do you remember the last blind date you went to?”
“ of course I do, I said insultive things to him and acted so arrogant, I even poured wine on his white shirt that day” she said giggling.
“ I remember how I laughed when you told me what happened. I am very sure that guy would never want to see your face again”
“ so I was thinking” she said looking serious
“ I need your help”
“ how, what do you mean?” I asked confused.
“ could you go instead of me? Please I really don’t want-,”
“ Then don’t” I replied cutting her short.
“ if I don’t go that would cause more problems, you know how my dad is, he would keep on setting me up if I don’t go for this one, please you are all I have” she looked at me almost crying begging.
“ NO”
She looked at me sternly
“ I will pay you.”
