Torn Between Two

Day Before

Callum rolled over with a groan as the light began to shine through his curtains letting him know morning was here.

Tossing his blankets back he stood up and grabbed the boxers next to his bed and slipped them on. Making his way to the dresser he took out a white t and a pair of blue jeans and slipped them on. Heading to his door he opened it up and came face to face with Astrid.

Her hair was a mess. She looked really adorable in the morning. He could get use to waking up to her in his bed looking cute and askew. Looking her over he mentally groaned in his head. She had to be standing in his doorway with a white tank top and booty shorts. Not to mention she had no bra on and her breasts were super perky this morning. As if they were begging him to nibble and suck them till she moaned out his name. Running his hands through his hair he net her eyes

" anything you needed" he asked her casually.

She opened her mouth then closed it again. " Yes actually I wanted to discuss the mating ceremony. " she replied. She arched her eyebrow motioning for them to either enter his room or head down stairs.

Stepping aside he let her in. She entered his room and sat on his bed.

" Well." She stated.

" Nothing much to it. We just mark each other." He shrugged and went to leave his room.

" That's it. That's like a 2 min thing. A waste of time. " she cried.

" Not really. Marking is part of it. But we have to exchange blood and sign papers and then well you guess the rest." He shrugged and walked away.

"What do you mean guess the rest. " she asked.

"Princess... let's put it this way. You won't be innocent anymore that night. " he winked and walked out his room.

Sitting there blushing deeply for a few minutes before she got up and walked out of his room to go get dressed. After getting dressed she went down stairs to get breakfast. As she hit the bottom step the smell of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and home fries hit her nose. Her tummy let out a growl. Striding into the kitchen she saw a stout little lady cooking breakfeast.

"This is Mrs.Vince." Casper stated as she looked at the women.

" You can call me Opal dearie. " said Mrs. Vince.

Letting out a nod of acknowledgement she sat down and filled her plate with bacon and pancakes. She began to eat.

Casper watched her eat. She even ate like an angel.

Callum strode in from his office and sat down to eat as well. Piling his plate with home fries,bacon and eggs. He began to eat quickly but neatly.

Astrid watched Callum as he ate his food. He even made eating look like a god like thing to do.

" Cas we need to get things set up for the ceremony tomorrow." He addressed his brother.

" Where are we doing it?" He asked with a mouthful of egg.

" I think we will have it in the little clearing a mile from here. You know its ritual to have the alpha and Luna run with the pack. " he looked at his brother.

" Whatever you say brother. It's your hell being created. " he smirked and dodged his brothers poor excuse of a throw with a piece of egg.

Sighing Astrid got up and placed her plate in the sink. " Thank you Opal it was good." She smiled at the old lady. Turning to the brothers she asked. "What am I to do to help. "

Both brothers looked at each other and shrugged.

"If you must you can help decorate. Even tho there isn't much to decorate." Callum stated. "Cas why dont you saddle up the horses and take her where it is so she can decorate. " Callum asked before leaving to go hide in his office.

Letting out a sigh Capser put his players aside and motioned for her to follow him. Which she did. They headed out the glass doors to the barn a few yards from the fenced in pool.

Opening the doors Astrid saw a wide open barn isle and on each side stood 12 stalls on each side. Only a few had horses in them. Walking to one of the horses in the stalls ahe reached out to pet it. This horse was a light brown with a long white strip down the nose. A small white diamond was in the forehead covered up by the horses mane. The horse let out a soft huff with its nose. Peering down into the stall all four legs had white stockings. Opening the stall she grabbed the lead leash and hooked it on the horse and brought her out. Examining her closer on her side there was another white spot. But what really caught her eye was the symbol on the horses right flank. It was a moon with a wolf howling.

"All the horses have that mark. So people know they belong to the Kingstons" Casper explained. "That ones your if you want her. Her names Blossom" he said as she continued to look at her. Casper walked past her into a stall next to her and came back with a saddle and reins. He geared the horse up before doing his own. Hopping onto his horse he kicked his side and turned it to face her. " Let's go. We need to get this done for tomorrow night. It's a full moon tomorrow. " he implied as he rode off hoping for her to follow. Which she did. They rode for about 10 mins before stopping in a clearing which already had chairs lined up in front of a pedestal. On each side of the lanes in the chairs there where 3 poles a put 2 feet apart. Little lights hung from each post. Not yet lit. The stand in front had lights and ribbons wrapped around it. The colors including red, white and black.

" Your job is to decorate the poles holding the lights. " Casper instructed and he hopped of his horse and strode towards a younger man.

"Tyler this is Astrid. Shes to be your chosen Luna. " he introduced them before walking off to help with the rest of the decorations.

Astrid looked at Tyler. He want a bad looking kid. He had brown shaggy hair. He wore torn jeans and a black shirt.

" Nice to meet you Tyler." She said. " Where can I find the decorations I need?"

Tyler pointed to a box that had the ribbon colors she saw previously and tiny little lights that looked like magnets. Taking the box she began decorate what was needed.
