Torn Between Two

Confused.

Astrid stood there and watched as the men discussed whatever was so important. She got lost with looking at the man talking to her father. She was practically undressing him with her eyes. She blushed deeply as her eyes came to his waist.

Casper couldnt help but keep staring at this beautiful creature as his brother and the other man discussed important matters. He watched as she blushed deeply making her even more beautiful then before.

Snapping outta his trance he looked over his brothers shoulder to see the supposed last piece of paper he needed to sign. He saw the words mate and Astrid. He became very angry. How could this man pawn his daughter off like she didnt matter. He watched as his brother scoffed and laughed while he signed the paper. Casper felt even more upset. But he knew he couldnt do anything. His wolf sensed how upset he was and growled knowing what had upset his human. Casper hushed his wolf telling him it was no use to be angry. " not like we have a say. Hes the alpha and we are just the beta. " he reminded his wolf. His wolf huffed and sat down.

Casper witnessed his brother shove the paper back at the other man and turn on his heels and grabbed his mate by the forearm roughly and guided her out the door. Following his brother after his brothers statement.

Watching his brother firmly put Astrid in the back of the car he then climbed in himself and waited for his brother to get in and drive home.

Astrid was so confused. Why this man was being so rough and taking her to his car. She couldnt even grab anything. All she heard was that her things were to be sent to this man by tonight. Taking out her phone she texted her friend.

" I will see you in school hopefully tomorrow. Love you. " she pressed send and put her phone back in her pocket.

She looked out the window as they passed house after house. Softly sighing she leaned back and closed her eyes.

Casper watched her as she stared out the window. She was just so gorgeous. She looked like an angel with the sunlight surrounding her as she layed back against the seat to rest. It would be at least half hour before they got home. Turing forward he looked at his brother.

" Was it worth it?" He asked his brother.

Callum was focused on the road ahead just wanting to get home. Letting out an annoyed growl he replied. " I didnt particularly have a choice. I am Alpha ever since dad died Casper. I can't avoid pack duty. " he shot as his younger brother.

Gripping the steering wheel tighter he focused back on the road trying to block out the smell of his mate. Feeling a little relief as he saw the house roof peeking out from the top of the trees. He turned onto a side road and continued to drive until he reached the house.

Astrid woke up as the car came to a stop amd the sound if doors closing. Reaching down she opened the door and stepped out. Looking around her she was taken by surprise. In front of them was a mansion sized house. Along the house were bushes underneath the windows laced with roses. The house was a beautiful dark painted gray with white trimming. A few feet from the house heading toward the rd was a pond with a fountain in the middle. The house was surrounded by miles and miles of woods.

Astrid licked her lips as she came back to. Turing toward the house she started for it.

Callum watched Astrid as she took in her surroundings. The light of the sun illuminating her small frame. Making her look like she fell from heaven. He caught himself looking at her from head to toe. Her beautiful hair surrounding her face as it fell a few inches past her shoulders. She wore baggy clothing which hid her womanly frame. He caught her licking her lips. He let out a soft growl only he could hear. He wanted to capture those lips with his. He wanted to nibble them and watch them turn red and swollen. He wanted to part them with his tongue and taste her. To grab her and press her firmly against him. Just thinking about it he began to be aroused by the thought of cupping her ass as her kissed her with hunger and need. His pants became tight in the lower region. Snapping outta his thoughts he turned and headed towards the house. " Casper I assume you can show our guest to her room. " he barked at his brother as he opened the door to the house.

As soon as he opened the door Astrid gasped at how esquiset it was. Right before them lead a long hallway leading to the dining area. Right next to the hallway was steps that lead upstairs which she assumed were the bedrooms were. Veering off to the left a doorway lead to a living room with was vast and beautiful big bay windows. Under the stairs was a small cupboard. Astrid assumed it was where the cleaning supplies was kept.

Heading towards the kitchen she took in a room right before it. It was big. It had shelves an a desk. A few couches and a wall with binders. She assumed it was the alphas office. As they entered the kitchen. Some sliding glass doors gave view to a back porch and connected to the deck was ahuge in ground pool. Off to the right a door lead dining room area. Off to the left a door lead to a vast bathroom.

Sitting at the small island in the kitchen. She took in the view out back.

He must be a very rich man. She thought.

Casper watched her taking in the house. Before clearing his throat. " I can show you to your room if you like. " he nodded back towards the staircase in the hallway. Heading back to the staircase he waited for her to follow him. Letting her pass first he followed her.

" take a left and two doors down from the bathroom is your room" he pointed as he continued to follow her.

Astrid opened the door to her room. Off to the left was a huge bed. A four posted bed with gosmere curtains closing around in. Straight ahead if her were two regular windowed doors leading to a balcony facing out the back. She had her own personal bathroom and a dresser. This room was 3 times bigger then her old room.

Heading to the bes ahead sat down on it and looked at Casper.

" Will I still be going to school while here. " she asked him timidly.

" To be honest Astrid I have no clue. You'd have to ask my brother. " he stated to her. " If there is anything you need my room is 3 doors down from the bathroom. And my brother is right across from your room. " he said as he backed out of her room and made his way down the stairs.

Letting out a huge relieved sigh Astrod stood up and went out the balcony doors. The view was breath taking. Nothing but miles amd miles of open space. A few feet from the gated area was a stable with miles of fencing and out on the pasture was at least a dozen horse. Below her was the pool and deck. Turing back inside she looked longer at her room until her stomach began to growl. Heading to the door she opens it and ran smack into Callum. Falling back on her ass on the floor she let out a huge oof.

"What the hell." She bursted out.

Callum stood with his arms crossed looking at her his eyebrow arched.

" I just came up to see if you settled in and if you were hungry. " he stated as he held a hand out for her. Astrid reached up and gripped his hand. A spark of electricity shot through her hand as she gripped his hand. She pulled herself up looking him directly in this blue eyes of his. She bit her lip as she cleared her throat. "I am fine and yes I am..." she was cut off as she was pulled a little closer to him.

Callum couldn't stand it anymore. Her scent filled his nostrils and sent his wolf into frenzy. The way she bit her lip drove him crazy. All he wanted to do was taste those lips of hers. Letting out a soft growl he pushed them back into her room closing the door behind them. He pulled her closer. His lips meer inches from hers so close to kissing her.

Astrid held her breath as he pulled her closer. Her eyes feel to his lips. She felt his hand grip her by the waist and pulled her right against him. His body was fit and firm she fit into it perfectly. Her breath picked up as his lips moved closer to hers.

Callum used his free hand and entwined it into her silver hair. Grabbing a handful he tugged her head back so he could reach her lips with his. Hearing her breath hitch a little was all he needed as he crushed his lips to hers. Tasting her was the thing he needed. Growling slowly he deepened the kiss pulling her tightly against him. His hand dropped from her hair and down her shoulder and down her arm. He gripped her hip digging his nails into it. He took his teeth amd gently nipped at her button lip. Which drew a moan from her. His hand came up to cup her breast through her sweater. Hearing a soft whimper escape her is what brought him to his sense. What in the hell was he doing they hadn't even gone through the mating ceremony yet. Pulling away fast he exited her room and took off down the stairs and out the front door.
