“Are you sure about this?” Gavin squeezed my hand. “Because we don’t have to do…”
“Yes.” I sighed, wondering why Gavin was hesitating. I pulled him into my chest. “There’s nothing else I’d rather do than be with you. Now, come on.” I let Gavin go and padded into the hallway, praying he would follow.
“I’m scared.” Gavin murmured as he walked through the doorway. “I don’t want you to freak out.”
