Chapter Nine

“Here we are.” Gavin said, staring at me pensively. It was almost like he didn’t expect I would come here with him. I patted him on the knee and grinned.
“Well, you have to get out of the car for us to go in.”
Gavin laughed, opened the car door and stepped out onto the sidewalk. There was a short line of men waiting to get in, so we strolled to the back of the line. I noticed several sets of eyes glued to us.
“Why are these guys staring at us?” I murmured.
“They are gawking at you.” Gavin whispered back. “They’ve never seen you before, and, um, they probably think you are hot.”
Blood surged to my face, and I moved closer to Gavin.
