I was teaching a class on Lycan and werewolf history when I heard both my mate and my daughter bugle an angry warning. Fire dragons are passionate creatures, but they don’t bugle frivolous warnings. Ever. Since both my girls bugled at nearly the same time, I knew something was very wrong.
‘TANA!’ I yelled in the mind link as I sprinted out of class.
‘Phoenix rose! Something’s wrong but I can’t tell what it is. The dragons are about to attack her,” she says.
I shift as I run out of my classroom. I see Phoenix's fiery figure in the sky. I’m nowhere close to her but I can already feel the heat of her anger.
