After the new hybrids arrived, everything went back to normal. Well, almost. They put the three of them on trial which lasted nearly a week and Phoenix caught the scent of magic again.
Thankfully, we were with Ajax and he was able to keep her calm. Rather than showing our hand that we’d found it and risk having the witches try again, we’d told the elementals.
