In our world trust and loyalty are earned not freely given but easily lost. Love is just a word used excessively to mask the stench of lust and greed. Power is what everyone wants and claims to have but none truly does.
In our world having all three makes you a unicorn and we know damn well they don’t exist. Even if they did, they wouldn’t be showing up on our side of the track. Anyways, power was the most sought after, trust and loyalty came after, and nobody was worrying about love.
Honestly, I cared for none and barely considered them much. They all came with an expiration date and often a death sentence. If I had to choose one, it would be a happy medium of trust and loyalty. A few days ago, I might have said love. now I’m realizing that I have a greater chance of winnin
