Soleil I woke up to the beeping of machines with an IV stuck to my arm. I was feeling sore and extremely weak. Every fiber in my body was screaming at me for my attempt at breathing, let alone moving. It took a minute for my eyes to focus on my surroundings. In a room that wasn’t familiar with cream walls, a TV, medicine cabinets, a bathroom, a recycling chair, and a sofa. It’s assumable that I was in the hospital. How I got here, I wasn’t quite sure. I remember not feeling well and throwing up, but nothing that would warrant me being hospitalized. This must be Gunnar overreacting. Not thinking much about it, I attempted to look for my phone. That small movement had my heart ready to leap out of my chest. The beating of my heart was so erratic and painful that I was gasping for air. All
