21 After the Scrabble game, Nicole helped Serena move into one of the guesthouses. It was one of the few that still had the original wallpaper, a pattern of blueberry sprigs over a cream background. With its chenille bedspread and enamel washbasin, the guesthouse had a charming old-school feel that she hoped wouldn’t be lost with all the renovations.
