‘Me, the boys, and Mark have already sworn to secrecy!’ says Ellie, making Mark a little embarrassed as the other dads smile at him.
‘Before we go any further let’s get the girls in here!’ says Eddie, raising everyone’s curiosity as he heads outside to have a word with Madge and the girls, who all follow him back inside the shack.
‘I’ve asked you all in here because I have something I’d like to show you,’ explains Eddie. ‘Something that’s never been seen before, except by the men who built it – my late father and me – as far as I’m aware. And I’d like you all to keep it a secret, please, between our little group.’
All the guys look around at each other, amused by this unusual request, and even Madge doesn’t seem to know what’s about to happen.
