Next morning, Madge wakes after a solid night’s sleep. She climbs out of bed and opens her curtains to see a bright yet cool-looking morning accompanied by a thin wispy mist hovering slightly above her back lawn.
‘Aahh, that was a lovely sleep,’ says Madge, stretching her arms above her head, surprised she managed to get any sleep after all her soul-searching last night.
She ventures downstairs and opens all her curtains, clicks the kettle on, then turns on her stereo to hear her now favourite radio station, Ravarna Radio, after Johnny’s introduction to it over the weekend.
