"Go on," Kaelan said. "What's so urgent?"
Through the receiver, I heard him repeatedly opening and closing the box.
"Mr. Thorn, your guess was correct," Aldric reported. "The people monitoring them just sent word. Fiona met with Marius."
Their reaction was fast.
"Oh?" Kaelan's tone turned thoughtful. "Looks like that little move of mine worked well. Did we get any details of their conversation?"
Aldric lowered his voice. "No. Marius was too cautious. Our people couldn't get close enough. But after the meeting, Fiona went to Siren Lounge."
My heart jolted. Siren Lounge?
Aldric continued, "Fiona went to Siren Lounge and locked herself inside the filthy security room with a guard. They talked for quite a while. Our people only caught fragments of their conversation."
