Chapter 5
At the end of the week, Stella caught up with Shaun for a drink after work at Georges on Waymouth.
'What have you got planned for the weekend?' said Stella, as Shaun handed her a glass of Chardonnay.
'Nothing special.'
'Want to come for dinner tomorrow night? Mum's cooking lasagna, and we could go and watch Josh play football Sunday morning,' said Stella, taking a sip of her wine.
'Lasagna. You girls know how to get a man's attention.'
'Mum noticed you enjoyed it.' Stella smiled. 'I think she might like you, and food is her weapon of choice when it comes to men.'
Shaun laughed. 'Yeah, okay, let's do that.'
'What's Sarah doing?'
'She's going out with her friends. There's some student thing on at the uni.'
