'I'll catch you tomorrow, Sarge.'
Stella looked up and waved as Brian headed towards the lifts and then sat staring at the screen of her computer. It was blank. She had already logged off for the day but she wasn't quite ready to leave. She was thinking about Shaun and what he'd asked her over lunch.
He'd asked her to spend the weekend with him at Victor. Just the two of them. No kids. He wanted to move on to the next phase in their relationship, beyond kissing and holding hands. She'd said she'd let him know once she'd made arrangements for Josh. He'd said he’d need to confirm the booking by Wednesday.
Over lunch she'd wanted to go. Now, she was having second thoughts and wondering whether she was ready to commit to having s*x with Shaun. She knew she liked him, perhaps love
