‘There’s no Joe Donatelli listed in the White Pages,’ said Brian.
‘Is there a Giuseppe or a G Donatelli?’ said Stella.
‘There’s a G at 3 Hughes Avenue, Henley Beach,’ said Brian.
‘Give him a call,’ said Stella.
Brian keyed in the number and listened to the ring tone and then Joe Donatelli’s voicemail message. He left a message asking Joe to return his call.
‘Head over to Henley Beach instead of going back to the office,’ said Stella. ‘I think we should check it out.’
While Brian drove, Stella called DI Williams and let him know what they were doing.
