Brian looked through the crime scene photographs while he was waiting to go downstairs to Grant Semmler's autopsy. They'd taken a shot of the body on the ground between the Valiant and the Toyota from outside the shed that captured the number plates on both vehicles.
Something's not right here, thought Brian. I don't remember the registration number on that Valiant starting with an S. He logged onto the Motor Vehicle Registration database and keyed in the registration number showing on the Valiant.
