Standing at the rooftop, pain tearing through my heart.
The moment she left, I felt a void inside of me. I'm still drenched with water, my wet clothes stuck to my body like a second skin.
The starlit sky illuminated the entire space but all I felt was darkness from the anguish surging through me.
How could she do this to me? I thought she wanted us to be together?
Right from the first day I paid eyes on her, a part of me had yearned for her. I only dismissed it.
Now, I want all of her but she's gone.
The cool breeze brushes my skin, the biting cold does not deter me.
I just don't want to go in right now because everything tends to remind me of her.
The hugs, kisses and the way she fits perfectly into me floods my memory.
