We must clearly read Mr Dunne’s poems together! I find that the idea of you reading his thoroughly beautiful, thoroughly indecent To His Mistress on Going to Bed to me while we are together in our bed is a most delightful and inspiring one. Am I your America? Your new found land? As to the works of Mssrs Coleridge and Blake — I hope that I may show you some of the reasons that I love their poems. Also, as libertine as Mr Coleridge may present himself in his poems, may I ask whether you have ever read his essays, especially those on the works of Shakespeare (essays that Miss Mary and I discussed in passing this afternoon)?
