TREY
“You what?” Izzy’s eyes bug.
Will, Jace, Izzy, Juney and I are hanging out in the Kelly’s gigantic yard enjoying their awesome view of the Caribbean Sea.
Juney and Jace are on the tire swings tied to the bough of a rather worn-out looking tree. I expect the limb to give out and catapult to the ground any day now.
Will is taking a nap on the other side of the tree with his headphones in his ears. It’s Saturday afternoon and a gazillion degrees out, but the guy is napping.
Strange.
I wonder why he’s so tired. Will doesn’t speak of his family or his private life and I’ve known him for half of my lifetime.
