My eyes are glued to her though I doubt that she realizes that I’m here.
The guys and I are sitting in the booths lining the sides of the Queen’s Hotel and Restaurant.
Francis discusses Reggaepedia’s final stipulations before they sign us. The bonus is out of this world and the fact that they’re speeding up negotiations is a great sign.
But I could care less.
I haven’t shifted my gaze from the woman across the room since she stepped in here.
I grimace as the guy from earlier hugs her close.
I steam when he kisses her cheek and feel a deep spike in my heart as Charlie happily accepts his caresses.
Despair races through my heart when he snakes his hand across the table and grabs her dainty brown fingers in his dark palm.
