chapter seventeen TREY My feelings are bubbling over as I climb out of my car and escort Charlie past her fence and onto her front porch. The full moon spotlights our stroll. The night is cool with a brisk breeze flowing past our bare skin. The scent of jasmine curling from the flowers arching across her veranda posts fills the air.
