JULIETTE

I went to a place that no one knows except me. Of course, it's still a part of the estate. I lay under the tree and think about the brute I just met. I don't remember a guy like him showing up in the novel. Or probably I didn't read it?

I like to skip sometimes, but I am dead sure I didn't read something like a guy that exceeds the prince's handsomeness. And something about that brute makes my hair stand to its end. It feels like, he's someone I shouldn't mess with.

"Hah..."

"Beasty, why are you sighing?"

"Beasty?"

My eyes widened at the realization that I am with someone right now. I quickly turn around and met a pair of emerald eyes and a black-haired man.

I eyed him from head to toe. He wears a magician cloak, moreover, a high-ranking magician at that.

"Done checking me out beasty?" The guy smirked.

"How dare you call a goddess beasty?!" I angrily shouted. I don't care if he's a high-ranking bastard!

Whoah, I'm getting sharper and sharper huh.

"You smells like a beast, that's why."

A magic circle appeared in the man's eyes, he look at me as if he's digging a hole in my face.

"You are exceptionally special beasty." With amusement in the man’s eyes, he stated while the corners of his lips twisted up.

"What are you saying?" Stepping back I grew conscious of the man in front of me, I know that he is not from here, he could be an assassin that Anna hired to kill me.

"I'm saying... You are not from here aren't you?" He guessed, the knot between my eyebrows increased, my eyes widened as I stare at the man. How could?

"Though, I am not sure. I know that you are special beasty." He added.

"Just who the hell are you?" I asked, why am I talking with a stranger by the way?

"Call me master, beasty." He replied. This ass is so shameless!

"Never you asshole..." I flatly spat.

"That hurts my feelings beasty. Either way, you can call me Karius."

With that, the man disappeared from thin air leaving no trace of him.

Another character I do not know of. Seriously, what's happening? Is this behind the scene or what? Karius? I haven’t heard of that name before!

The strongest magician in the meantime is Fahli. Even that man too. His presence is telling me that he's dangerous. Both that brute and asshole are up to no good I guess. Gah! Am I a magnet of bad luck? I just wanted to go to the east!

But first of all, I should settle the problem here first. My engagement and about my age. Still 15, I'm not allowed to cross any border yet. That's why I should wait for a year or maybe look for a magician. Although I want it to be Rozvette. But if it will be her, I need to wait for at least  3 years.

In three years, the prince will be in charge of the kingdom since his majesty the king fell ill.

During that time, I should be careful and leave.

"Beasty." I sighed, and look at the man I call an asshole.

"What do you want?" I said, already irritated. Can't he just leave this beautiful lady alone?

He's dangerous!

"I saw you awhile ago, practicing your power." He said. Does he see that? Why is he sticking his nose to my business?

"And so?"

"I could help you. Right now, it's sealed in your heart. Probably knowing that you are not the real master of it."

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Stay by my side..."
