JULIETTE

I am currently preparing myself. Today, I am going to another TEA party being hosted by Lady Adelle of house Boureborn. When Juliette was young, she always went to see her brother training with swords. So I have a little knowledge of swords.

Why swords?

Because hell knows Lady Adelle doesn't give a crap about tea parties. You can call her a tomboy. She is after all. Right now I feel sorry for the temple because I need Lady Adelle to be on my side too. She's one of the 4 master swordsmen too. Meaning, she's strong and she can protect me.

In short, I will create a circle of friends who can help me! It might sound like I am selfish but I just need their help. I am planning that when I reach my debut. I will escape and go to another kingdom. I heard East is a very beautiful place. So I want to go there.

The Oltaire Kingdom is in the between of four kingdoms. The North, South, West, and East. We are the first Kingdom, but then the four Dukes went into an expedition, and they never returned.

They built their Kingdoms and claim the land that they are the King of the North, South, West, and East. They disregard the first King and tried to claim the middle Kingdom which is Oltaire.

But then the house of Boureborn defend the royal family and they became "The Sword".

For years they bore a son to be the head of their house. But the current duchess died while giving birth to a lovely girl named Adelle. She was sent to be one of the candidates to be the Queen but to her expectation, she was eliminated.

She was happy and she told her father when she reach adulthood (18) that she will be a knight. Her father thought that she wanted to be a Queen so he sent his daughter without knowing his daughter hates it.

In the end, Adelle the first female master swordsman became the heir of the house Boureborn and became a knight of the temple who can use light magic.

The kingdom has 4 dukes. And house Boureborn is included in those 4 strongest houses of Oltaire.

The Sword, The Magic, The Shield, The Spirits...

The swords are the knights of house boureborn. My memories of the other houses are hazy so I can't remember their family name, but I do remember their family crest.

The house boureborn has three swords with some vines to keep the three of the swords together. Then at the back of the three swords is a lion's claw.

The house of the shield has a shield and on top of it is a three-headed snake. I remembered this house has a past of someone betraying the royal family. In return, the man was executed. The snake was originally four-headed, but because of the past, they adjusted the crest and made it into a three-headed snake.

The house of the magic has a firecrest. You might've imagined it like a simple fire but it is not. It is hard to describe because there's a lot of thing on their crest.

The house of the spirits has a woman with long wavy hair. And on top of her is a very big crown, and my family is one of the Houses. We are the ones who can summon spirits.

"I am honored to be invited to this party Lady Adelle," I said to her as I curtsy in front of her.

"Likewise my lady, I am quite delighted to know you accepted my humble request."

Although she is a tomboy, she has a very formal way of speaking. So I'm quite having a hard time talking with her.

I guess I need an interpreter... Just like in the Miss universe model etc...

"Swords are quite fascinating isn't it Lady Adelle?" I was looking at my cup of tea when I decided to look at the lady. But I was rather shocked when I saw tears in her eyes.

As if I was burned I stood up and ran to her.

"Are you okay my lady?" I worriedly asked. God, what the hell did I say bad to her? Am I harsh? Does she not want to talk about swords? Did she change and she likes to play barbies now?!

"Oh no, how unsightly. I am very sorry to show this vulgar side of mine. It's just I am very happy."

Happy?

Crying but happy?

Oh! Tears of joy...

"You are happy because of what exactly my lady?" I curiously asked.

"That finally someone would understand me." I don't know what she means but I just smiled at her.

"I do not wish to host this kind of thing. This is just a bunch of bullshit..."

I almost choke on my saliva when a cuss left the lady's mouth. I didn't know she can cuss?!

"Oh my pardon me for my rude behavior, I am guessing you already hate me for that no?"

"No, no, no! Not at all my lady. In fact, I too cuss all the time. Although it's my mind." I sheepishly smiled at her.

"Oh is that so? Then maybe from now on, I can talk with you informally?"

Is she saying that she wanted to befriend me? Either way, I think I should agree...

"Of course!"
