Chapter 8 She wasn't watching the competition happen. Becky gave LJ the afternoon off and now it was just her and Emily, sitting in the near empty store. She was sweeping up some non-existent dirt, if only to have something to do. She hated when the store was slow, but everyone was watching the tournament happen. Her mother was wearing a pair of earring that looked familiar, but she wasn't so sure why. It was almost like she had seen them before, but she had to get closer to really see them. She was still trying to process her conversation with Christopher Davis from earlier. She didn't think he was a murderer. She wondered what Alfie was trying to hide. "Becky," Emily said.
