Chapter 9
"Becky!" Monty called her before she was able to leave. She was trying to get out of the bar first, but Monty was behind the bar as she bid her goodbyes. She sat down at the bar. He poured her some soda. She smiled when he did so. She wondered if he remembered the drink of everyone who sat in this bar.
He would have to have a very good memory for that.
"What's going on?" Becky asked.
"I've gone through all the tapes and stuff," Monty said. "If you wanted to take a look at them?"
"I definitely do," Becky said. Monty nodded.
"Hey, Meredith, can you..." Monty called. Meredith was Monty's sister, blessed with a normal name. She was at a table laughing or flirting with patrons.
