Chapter 2
There was definitely a change in Rose Hollow. Becky's store was located on Main Street, where most of the action would be. That meant she had a great view of everything going on right in front of her.
"God, it's so exciting, isn't it?" said LJ, her store assistant. Almost nothing was going on at the moment, and the contestants would arrive that night and filming would commence the next day; the buzz in the air was palatable.
"It is," Becky said. She turned towards Lucy "LJ" Jennings, who was busying herself by playing with the cat. They had just opened, Emily herself had gone out to walk around the town as she did every morning. Becky wondered if there was something that pulled her mother away from the store every morning.
