She stared at the FBI badge, her mind racing. Isabella, Maria, waited patiently, watching her process the revelation.
"Why are you telling me this?" she finally asked.
"Because I need someone on the inside. Someone close to Adrian who can help me take down the Rossinis without destroying everyone else in the process." Maria closed her badge, tucking it away. "And because you're in danger. More than you realize."
"What kind of danger?"
