Sophie woke up to the sun coming through the windows. She smiled, as the scent of spruce trees and vanilla hit her. She remembered she had fallen asleep with Justin, and snuggled into his chest.
"Good morning beautiful!" Justin said, as he kissed the top of her head.
Sophie smiled, and looked up at him. "Good morning! How long have you been awake?"
Justin rubbed up her arm. "Oh, an hour or so."
"What?!" Sophie exclaimed, and sat up. "Why didn’t you wake me up?"
"You just looked so peaceful and rested, I didn't want to wake you up. Plus I really liked having you in my arms."
Sophie smiled and laid back down on his chest, inhaling deeply. "The first time I caught your scent, I thought it was your cologne."
