Catherine's POV
I returned to the lakeside villa just as Noah and Hedwig were finishing class.
I sat in the parlor and waited. When I heard the sound of the car, I quickly walked out.
The car doors opened, and Noah and Hedwig ran toward me.
"Mommy, I miss you so much!" Hedwig hugged my neck tightly and kissed my face. "Mommy, don't leave anymore, OK?"
Hearing Hedwig's words, Noah looked at me with anticipation.
"OK, I promise. I won't go anywhere from now on. I will stay with you and Noah," I comforted Hedwig.
To my surprise, Noah and Hedwig missed me so much, though it had just been a few days.
"Mommy, daddy also went out to work, but he came back earlier than you. He came back yesterday. Can you call daddy over for dinner tonight?" Hedwig p
